For many, pantomimes are a family Christmas tradition. It sparks the excitement that Christmas is coming and that you can start to unwind and enjoy time together over the break.
You can choose to see a pantomime in Northants. or make a whole day, or even a weekend of it by travelling a little further.
Whichever you choose, we are spoilt for choice this year with so many amazing performances.

- Royal & Derngate
- 9th December – 2nd Janury
Dick Whittington is the purrrfect pantomime adventure that follows our hero to seek his fame, fortune and happiness in London Town. With help from the magical Fairy Bowbells and his trusty feline friend, what could possibly go wrong?
This year’s show will star infamous TV baddie Ricky Champ (EastEnders) as the dastardly King Rat, children’s favourite Phil Gallagher (Cbeebies’ Mister Maker).

Cursed by the jealous Wicked Queen on her 16th birthday, the beautiful Princess falls into a deep sleep that can only be ended with a kiss from her betrothed. Follow the story of Sleeping Beauty that we all know and love but with an extra sprinkling of sequins and glitter. Will good triumph over evil?
Will the dragon be the only one to get ‘slayed’?
With music, comedy, adventure and the most fabulous of costumes, Sleeping Beauty will have you ‘sashaying away’ grinning from ear to ear!

In a madcap ride through the biggest stories and best-loved characters from the wonderful world of pantomime, our dastardly double act dash from rubbing Aladdin’s lamp to roaming the golden streets of Dick Whittington’s London and making sure that Cinderella gets to the Ball.
It’s all unmissable fun, whether you’re six or 106.

- 25th November – 2nd January
Join Aladdin, the Genie and their friends next Christmas and go on a magical carpet ride where all of your festive wishes shall be granted. Expect the usual Lyric twist on all of your favourite characters as well as live music, magic lamps, plenty of laughs and a journey to a faraway land.

- 4th December – 9th January
Celebrating the very best of pantomime, with comedy in abundance and big show-stopping numbers, this star-filled extravaganza will be the ultimate feel-good show.
